I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the many residents who supported me for re-election. I am especially gratified by the number of Democratic votes that I received. In this increasingly partisan world, I for one understand the essential nature of a two party system. I am buoyed by my Republican base, and kept planted to the ground by my Democratic supporters.

There is much work ahead and I hope to continue to tap into the talent and ideas of the district that I am so proud to represent. Once again, thank you. I love this work and look forward to the next two years working on behalf of everyone in the district.
