When Nassau County senior citizens need meals prepared for them on the weekends, they can turn to Friends Assisting Nassau Seniors (FANS) for help. Among the many programs that FANS makes possible is extending Nassau County's successful Meals on Wheels programs to the weekends. The recent Bristal Assisted Living Golf Outing, which took place at the Woodmere Country Club, raised $50,000 for FANS. Pictured are Ellen Antonucci, director of marketing for Bristal Assisted Living; Steven Krieger, principal of The Bristal Assisted Living and president of FANS; Ralph Caruso, deputy commissioner of Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen's Affairs; Maryellen McKeon, director of operations for The Bristal Assisted Living; Carole Proce, director of quality assurance for The Bristal Assisted Living; Patricia Kiley, executive director of The Bristal Assisted Living at North Woodmere; and Nick Materdomini, executive director of The Bristal Assisted Living at Westbury.
