Find a Flower Fairy

As part of Old Westbury Gardens’ Midsummer’s Night Weekend, children 4-8 are invited to a special evening to follow clues to discover the enchanted fairy world that magically appears in the gardens this time of the year. 5 to 7 p.m., $8 General; $5 children 4 to17. Summer Polo Match and Lawn Party

SUNY College at Old Westbury will host its annual Summer Polo Match and Lawn Party at Hickox Field in Old Westbury. The match will be held from 2:30 to 6 p.m.  Tickets are $95 per person, with children under the age of 12 admitted at no charge. Tables can be purchased for $900 each, and space will also be available for tailgaters at $50 per carload. The afternoon events will be fully catered with a buffet lunch and fine wines from local Long Island vintners. A children’s tent with an array of activities for toddlers to pre-teens will also be available on-site for families to visit.

Westbury Business Improvement District Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors

The meeting is open to all business owners, property owners, local community organizations and village residents. In addition to discussing new business, Roslyn Goldmacher, President and CEO of Long Island Development Corporation located in Westbury, will be the guest speaker. Goldmacher will share information about the various programs offered by LIDC to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs expand and grow their businesses on Long Island. Questions? Pinkalicious at NYCB Theatre at Westbury 

This musical is based on the popular book by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann. Pinkalicious can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her  pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast!
