Tabla Players of India

The tabla is a popular Indian percussion instrument used in music of the Indian subcontinent and in Hindustani classical music. The concert at East Meadow Library at 2 p.m. will begin with Achyut and Tejas Tope of Miller Place, who are well regarded as teachers and performers. Musical Cuisine Concert

Chamber Players International’s Musical Cuisine series will present the second concert and brunch of its 2009-2010 season, celebrating Beethoven’s masterworks for violin and piano, at noon at the DeSeversky Conference Center on the campus of New York Institute of Technology, Northern Blvd., Old Westbury. This program will feature Beethoven’s Kreutzer and Spring Sonatas for Violin and Piano. Chamber Players International performers will be Anna Rabinova, violin and pianist Tatiana Goncharova. Senior Seasonal Flu Vaccination Program

Held by Nassau University Medical Center, 2201 Hempstead Tpke., East Meadow, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the NUMC auditorium. The NuHealth System seasonal influenza vaccination program is provided at no out-of-pocket expense for seniors 60 and older, who are urged to bring their Medicare card if they have one.
 Note that this program is for seasonal influenza only. H1N1 influenza (formerly known as Swine Flu) vaccine will not be offered at this program. To uninsured women over the age of 40 provided by the Cancer Screening Partnership at Nassau University Medical Center. The Nassau County Bar Association provides free monthly legal consultation clinics for Nassau County residents 65 or older. Seniors have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an attorney who volunteers to provide a half-hour private consultation on any topic of concern. Casino Night Fundraiser

The Carle Place High School Athletic Booster Club will hold a Casino Night fundraiser on Dec. 5 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Our Lady of Hope Church, 534 Broadway, Carle Place. At Hicks Nurseries
