Carle Place High School Senior Signs Letter Of Intent For Basketball

Congratulations are in order for Carle Place senior Samantha Burden, who signed her Letter of Intent on Monday, Nov. 19. Samantha has accepted a full scholarship to play Division II basketball for St. Thomas Aquinas College. 

She is a two-time All County basketball player, Conference B-C Player of the Year for 2011-12 and was named third team All State as a junior. Samantha is also an All County soccer player and AP honor student. She is fulfilling a lifelong dream to play collegiate basketball. The Carle Place School District is very proud of Samantha’s accomplishments.
