NUMC Takes Part in 2009 Revlon Run/Walk

For the past 12 years, Nassau University Medical (NUMC) has been a beneficiary of the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s grant for its Breast Health Center and, on May 2, Nassau Health Care Corporation (NHCC) staff participated in the annual Revlon Run/Walk held in Manhattan. Some volunteered their time, others walked for the cause. Last year, the medical center received a grant for $80,000, which benefits uninsured and underinsured women using the services provided by NUMC’s Breast Health Center.
