The Westbury High School Class of 1973 held its 40th Reunion. The festivities began Friday, April 26 where the alumni gathered at the Long Island Marriot in Uniondale. Saturday was a packed day, as the class gathered at the high school for breakfast and then had a “Fallen Dragon” service, to honor classmates and teachers who have passed away, and dedicated a tree and plaque in front of the High School in their memory. After the service, the alumni went on a tour of their old stomping grounds, going through the classrooms, hallways and gym. The main event was dinner and dancing at Mirelle’s on Post Ave., where the class enjoyed a live band and caught up with old classmates. More than 70 people attended the event.
